What the Rempla Gift Reserve does
The Rempla Gift Reserve holds your payment and funds each scheduled delivery at the actual cost on the day of delivery. The amount you put into the Reserve is sized to cover your gifts — including projected inflation — so each delivery can be paid for as scheduled.
How Remembrance pricing works
Remembrance Plans use a pay-as-you-go charge structure with two components:
- Enrollment charge — a one-time payment at signup that funds the post-passing delivery window. Covers the gift Base, an inflation hedge sized for the delivery duration you choose, and a 10% service fee.
- For Remembrance Plans, you also pay a small annual maintenance fee on your enrollment anniversary while you are alive. The fee is set at the inflation rate times the gift’s Base price. It stops automatically when your plan activates after your passing.
Your total cash outlay scales with how long you live after enrollment. If you pass shortly after enrolling, you pay close to the enrollment charge. If you live many years, you also pay maintenance for each of those years. The plan is fully funded in either case.
The guaranteed price
The total you see at checkout (and the maintenance fee, if applicable) are the most you will ever owe under the plan you configured. If realized gift-cost inflation exceeds the projection, Rempla absorbs the difference — you are never charged more than the agreed amounts.
Refunds and remaining balance
You can cancel any time. After your final scheduled gift is delivered, any remaining Reserve balance is refunded to your designated refund recipient (the default is the gift’s beneficiary; you may designate another person or a charitable organization through your Rempla dashboard), less an administrative fee.
