What happens to my vault box if Rempla ceases to exist?

Your vault items are held under a bailment agreement — Rempla is the bailee (custodian of the physical items), and you remain the legal owner until the items are delivered to your designated recipients. The bailment agreement survives Rempla as an entity and is backed by our continuity plan, so your items and delivery instructions are protected even if Rempla were to wind down. This is not a trust and not an independent-custodian arrangement — it’s a direct contractual commitment between you and Rempla.
How does the inflation-protected Rempla Gift Reserve work?

When you pre-pay for scheduled gifts (like annual flowers), your funds are held in the Rempla Gift Reserve — an interest-bearing custodial account at an FDIC-insured U.S. bank, titled for your benefit. The Reserve is indexed to inflation (CPI-U), meaning the purchasing power of your gift is preserved year over year. If a dozen roses costs $80 today and $120 in 20 years, the Gift Reserve adjusts automatically.
Can I modify my plan after setting it up?

Absolutely. Your plan is fully modifiable as long as you're able to make changes. You can add or remove family members, adjust gifts, change plan protectors, and even add new vault boxes. Your plan only becomes immutable when your plan protector triggers the fulfillment phase.
Is Rempla the same as estate planning?

No. Rempla is a remembrance and contracted delivery service, not a legal estate planning tool. While your estate plan distributes assets, Rempla ensures personal gifts, letters, and recurring deliveries reach your loved ones at the right moment. They complement each other beautifully.
Who are Plan Protectors and why do I need them?

Plan Protectors are trusted individuals you designate — a sibling, close friend, or family member — who will notify Rempla when it's time to begin carrying out your plan. They serve as the human link between your wishes and their fulfillment. We recommend at least two plan protectors for redundancy.
